University of St. Thomas

In the spring of 2024, I will be graduating with a Bachelors of Science in Business, Entrepreneurship from the Opus College of Business at the University of St. Thomas. Throughout my undergraduate studies, I have had the opportunity to take a diverse collection of business courses such as Digital Marketing, Financial Management, and Entrepreneurship & Innovation that broadened my business skill set and provided me with a well-rounded business education. In January of 2023, I put my business skills to the international test by studying abroad in Florence, Italy and taking a Marketing Today’s Fashion course. This course allowed me to learn more about my favorite industry in the city that is home to the world’s most iconic brands such as Gucci, Ferragamo, and Roberto Cavalli. Following my study abroad experience, I was invited to become a member of Beta Gamma Sigma, an international business honors society that recognizes the top 10% of undergraduate students at the top 5% of business schools around the world. Being part of this organization is a true honor and is something that I look forward to being part of as I continue in my professional career.

Women in Business

I first joined the Women in Business club in 2020 at Miami University, and I continued my membership when I transferred to the University of St. Thomas. The Women in Business club is an organization that has a mission to unite, enable, and inspire women to achieve a high level of business excellence through guest speaker meetings and professional experiences. The strong connections that I made with the members and speakers of the club, in addition to the genuine passion that I have for the club’s mission, inspired me to apply for and be elected to the executive board as the Creative Director in 2022. In this role, I had the opportunity to use my marketing and communication skills to design the club’s marketing materials and manage its social media platforms. Then in 2023, I was elected as the President of the club. Through this role, I gained valuable leadership skills by reaching out to local businesswomen, such as the CEO of the MN Super Bowl and the Chief Creative Officer & Fashion Director of Evereve, to schedule and host meetings for the club. I also had the opportunity to plan and host the 2nd annual Women in Business Gala that raised over $2,000 for the non-profit organization, Dress for Success. Being part of this club was by far the most valuable thing that I did during my undergraduate studies, and I am forever grateful for the connections that I made and the skills that I developed because of it.

Miami University

I began my undergraduate studies at Miami University in Oxford, OH in 2020. While at Miami, I studied Marketing at the Farmer School of Business and participated in the First Year Integrated Core program for the fall semester. The purpose of this program is to prepare students for the ever-changing business environment by developing their critical thinking, ethical thinking, and collaboration skills to solve a challenge for a real client. In addition to academics, I was a member of the Women in Business club and the Alpha Chi Omega sorority, a women’s organization that is dedicated to raising awareness about domestic violence and empowering real, strong women.
